Comments about Humminbird® 798ci HD SI Combo GPS Chartplotter/Fishfinder System:
What is great is the screen resolutions, & if you take the time to actually learn how to use it, I think anybody will not be disappointed. It is rather complicated at first, but the support behind it for me has been great. I even called from the lake while fishing & humminbird techs answer all my questions I needed help with. The installation instruction are not great, but you can install the unit with them & maybe a couple of phone calls. I really like the unit. Big improvement from Lawrance X5.

Comments about Humminbird® 798ci HD SI Combo GPS Chartplotter/Fishfinder System:
Extremely dissappointing. Power Cord had to be replaced because it just fell off the unit. Transducer provided with unit only functions up to 10 MPH so you need two transducers and $100 to fix that problem. GPS loses signal and locks up or gets confused as to which direction you are going. External GPS antenna fix $150. Bottom line, [$]unit that takes an addtional $300 of accessories to try to get it to work as advertised. The last piece of Humminbird anything that will go on my boat.

Comments about Humminbird® 798ci HD SI Combo GPS Chartplotter/Fishfinder System:
Use it to find fishing spots, and to fine hidden objects for fishing around, also great for drift fishing can follow the same track over and over. Only draw back I see in the short time I have had it is the size of the screen, would love to had the bigger one but cost was factor.
