The Highgear XT7 features a GPS, altimeter, barometer, thermometer, digital compass, and heart rate monitor - all in one great watch! Through this combination of sensors, practically any statistic you could possibly want is available: speed, distance, pace, rate of ascent/descent, slope gradient, and weather forecast. The GPS can also be used for navigation, storing up to 100 waypoints and 25,000 track points. The watch can be operated with the GPS on or off, enabling the user to conserve (rechargeable via USB) battery life as required. With the GPS on, the battery life is approximately eight hours; with the GPS off, battery life is up to one year.
