The most fun you'll have top water fishing! It takes a few casts to learn how to "walk the dog" but with pauses in between, you'll get SPOOKED yourself by the explosion those bass make on this bait. It's totally awsome! I have the puppy spook with teeth marks all over it from bass of all sizes. Just be sure to tie the right knot so it swims freely from side to side. I don't go fishing without it, so to be sure, I bought two more!

This may well be one of the best surface lures for bass that has ever been made.
I had never used a stick bait before, but picked this up because I enjoy heddon products. This lure sat in my tackle box for 2 years before I finally pulled it out. The day I decided to use it, the bass weren't hitting on any of the usual suspects; poppers, beetle spins, twisters, or crank baits. Finally out of desperation, I tied this on my line. With no experience in using this type of lure, I started working it, cranking and jerking my rod. It is so easy to get this lure to perform that within just a couple casts I felt i was working it like a pro. After getting the action down, the fish couldn't resist it. They proceeded to demolish this lure for the next hour. Simply by walking it back and forth a couple times and pausing, it coaxed a strike nearly every time, and quickly became my favorite lure.
I also quickly dubbed this lure impossible to lose. I'm unsure if it's the construction of the lure, but for whatever reason, it simply would not hang up on branches, limbs, debris in the water, or anything else. Where every other lure would become impossibly snagged, this lure worked right through it.
I HIGHLY recommend this lure to ANYONE!

I've used this lure numerous times, both at night and mid-day. The action of this fish targets big predatory fish like Bass, Pike, Musky, and Walleye. Most of the time i jerk it left then right, pause...Then i get a huge hit. At night night i usually hook Walleyes, and during the daytime it varies between pike, and bass. When i fish at night and have hits left and right, the next day i look at my lure and there bite marks all over the fricken thing.
