Comments about Davis Instruments The Happy Troller:
Mounted on a Merc 200, performed great. Slowed me down to just over 1 mph and up as I needed allowing engine to run 1200 RPM's or slower. To retract the blade is easy, just pull rope and put engine in forward gear, prop wash will push blade up, release rope and you're locked in up position.... Easy.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Both of those items mount to the cavitation plate and I do not think they would work together that close.Answered on 10/9/2009 by Bryant C from Tech DepartmentA:
I also have a stingray hydrofoil stabilizer and I've read elsewhere that the happy troller acts as a stabilizer in the up position, so you wouldn't need the sting ray hydrofoil stabilizer. Now it would be nice if the holes line up the same!Answered on 5/14/2010 by Jimbob from Clio, MI
