All new for 2014, the Syndicate A3 introduces Speed Skin Technology, which is an advanced laminar textured ski base that increases speed by reducing drag. Also for 2014, the new Acceleration Flex pattern applied to the A3 is a little bit softer under the boot section with a torsionally rigid tail. This means when you're fully extended at apex, the ski automatically wants to carve back to the first wake, thereby giving direction and acceleration as early as possible.
Automatic Angle Design
The Syndicate Water Ski has always been about one thing and one thing only - performance. The A3 achieves performance through its Automatic Angle Design. A traditional waterski has a 41° bevel angle. The A3 has a 46° bevel angle which allows the ski to roll up on a higher edge angle. The higher you can keep your ski on edge, the more angle you can produce. The second component of Automatic Angle Design is the width profile of the ski underneath the feet. The Syndicate A3 has the perfect amount of width under the front and back feet to put the ski on an attack angle. You don't have to do anything but stand centered over your feet for the ski to automatically gain angle through the wakes. The third component to Automatic Angle Design is the Auto-Centering Continuous Rocker. This is a continuous rocker line along the edge of the ski. The great thing about a continuous rocker line is that no matter where you stand, the ski will always turn back to center. The goal of the Automatic Angle Design is to maximize the potential of the ski to swing out and come back in as quickly as possible.
Speed Control Specific Design
Be one step ahead of today's speed control systems. By achieving ski angle without aggressive skier lean, skiers reap the benefits of being wide and early for the next buoy without consequences imposed by modern speed control systems due to heavy rope load.
A proprietary blend of aerospace carbon fiber and Superlite core technology. HO Superlite Construction takes the aircraft manufacturing principles of light weight, responsiveness, and reliability and combines them with HO hydro-dynamic ski shapes to give skiers who are looking for the extra boost in their carve, something to bring them as far as they want to go.
