Comments about Guide Series Classic Spinning Rod, 6, Medium:

I bought this rod early in the spring to go with my Shimano Spirex 4000RG reel with 14lb Trilene XL. GREAT SETUP!!! I fish mostly for walleye on Lake Erie with this combo, casting and dragging spinner rigs and bottom bouncers. This is a great rod from GM. It's thin and flexible to launch lures and rigs but has the backbone to bring in the big ones. No problems so far!

Comments about Guide Series Classic Spinning Rod, 6, Medium:

Top piece of cork handle doesn't screw down when you attach reel. You are left with slim piece of plastic between cork pieces.

Comments about Guide Series Classic Spinning Rod, 6, Medium:

Had 2 that I used only for my annual trip to Canada. Worked great for a couple trips. 1 snapped when i set the hook on what turned out to be a snag and the other snapped when I was holding rod with 1 hand and taking fish off with the other. Probably work fine for panfish. :-(
