Constructed with a quality, IM* graphite blank, the Guide Series Fly Rod performs every task without grumbling. Strong, proprietary lay-up in the butt and tip. Medium-fast action to throw dry flies any distance or streamers into the wind. Performs well catching anything from small and large mouth bass to a variety of trout and panfish, in any body of water. Holds its own with dry flies, streamers, poppers or weighted nymphs. Medium/fast, in order to satisfy the most accomplished purist. Portuguese cork grip. Includes sock, two tips, and tube. If these rods are anything like the GM flyrods offered a few years ago, they are a nice rod, good action, quick tip, and pretty tough. Hope to see them in the stores quickly.
