Comments about Gladiator Trainer Ski Package:

Very difficult to get a beginner up out of the water with this rope set-up.
I tried a couple of different ways and followed the instruction book which was not very clear. If you follow the instructions in the book that comes with the skis, the skis are pulled out from under the skier and the skier is not pulled up. It tends to drag the skier in the water....I have other trainer skis from HO and this is not a problem with the line. The book and the line set-up are confusing. If you connect the line to the trainer skis, you should have tension on the skis and the rider should have tension on the tow handle otherwise the skis are pulled out from under the rider....not good.
With the HO skis that Overton's sells, this does not happen. I really believe this is not a ski problem...it is a line problem.....or maybe we are just not doing it correctly but I tried it a couple of different ways with similar results....kids were dragging in the water and could not get up b/c skis pulled out from under them.....

            A:

Yes. The stabilizer bar is secured to each ski with a thumbscrew and the bar can be easily removed and reinstalled.
