This item is A LOT bigger than it looks in the picture (see my images). The entire item is as long as from my shoulder to the tip of my fingers. It is about 28" long.
The plastic "T" is at least as large as the palm of your hand, if not bigger. In the picture the "T" looks like the size of a quarter. It is actually about 4" in each direction.
The rope is very beefy and looks like you could tow your boat with it as a towstrap. See attached images as reference. It isn't a thin finger-sized rope. More like a small kids wrist thick.
Haved used it for the past 2 years and it works well.
The only issue I have run into is installing it through some tow loops. Rope is so think you can't just slip it through them. It has fit on a boat one but a PWC it took some time and patience to get it through the tow hook loop.

When I bought my Nitro 3 tube, the salesperson told me I needed to get this quick-connector. Even after receiving it and seeing how it worked with a tow rope and calling back, I was still told how I really needed this piece of equipment.
It absolutely is not needed, and I resent being upsold on a piece of equipment I didn't need.

I bought this for the ease of putting the rope on a tube but quickly took it back off because the connector is too long and constantly drags in the water and makes the tube ride much less enjoyable because it is impossible to see with all the water spraying in your face. other than that, it works well.

The adaptor works as advertised but if you have a low tow point on your boat it causes splash into the tubers faces as it bounces on the water. A high tow point works fine.

YES. I have used it as a quick connect on my '96 SeaDoo GTX and my 2010 GTX 155. It makes it really easy to swap different towables and/or tow ropes from tubes to ski ropes. The knot is difficult to get through the tow hook loop and takes some patience but it does fit.
