This tube delivered as described and was great for the mild at heart (my 11 yr old dautghter) and wild at heart (my 16 yr old son). One can sit in the cockpit and the other can lay down. Best of both worlds. Can be a little bouncy for lttle ones but as long you watch your speed all is good. Gets on plain fast and does not have a lot of drag like my other 3 person tube. As for durablility, time will tell. So far so good. If you are looking for 2 tubes for the price of one, this is the one to get.

We took the tube out for the first time last night and it seemed to work well at first with my two kids ages 6 and 7 in the seated position. When I slowed down the tube took a nose dive and filled both compartments with water, scaring my kids. The tube didn't completely submerge but came pretty close. My wife and my youngest (4) then tried it and it did the same thing when I decelerated. I've pulled tubes before and haven't had this happen. If I decelerate very slowly I was able to prevent the nose dive. We like the tube other than the nose dive issue while slowing down. It could have used something to bundle the neoprene pad that rolls up to use it in the sitting position. The zippers for this pad could have been more beefy.

Comments about Gladiator Switch Towable:
Can get a little bouncy in rough chop, but is perfect on smooth water. My kids are not ready to ride on top yet, but I love having the ability to convert it when they get more comfortable. Pulling behind a Tigershark TSL900 3 person PWC.

Comments about Gladiator Switch Towable:
I bought this product for my 12 year old daughter and her friend to use. I took a chance that it had to inflatable pillows to insert in the area that get zipped up. The description wasn't clear. I'm glad it does It seems very well made and sturdy. It was easy to inflate with an electric pump.

Comments about Gladiator Switch Towable:
Great to accomodate everyone in our entire family from the 3 year old to Nana. The cockpit style is large enough for adults, but also allows 2 small children to sit with 2 small adults at once. The vertical bounce becomes a little too "trampoline-like" at times.

A:
There is an inflatable pad on the bottom of each of the cockpits that are pretty thick and inflate independent of the overall tube. There are also separate large inflatable bladders to go in the cockpit when you want to ride on top.Answered on 7/20/2012 by 900SharkTSL from Harrison Township, MI
Q:
Does this tube have an inflatable floor?Asked on 3/29/2011 by Anonymous2 answers

A:
yes it doesAnswered on 6/20/2011 by grandad lr from coloradoVERIFIED BUYER
A:
When you inflate the tube, the floor is inflated as well. There are several inches of inflated bottom that keeps it well afloat and is comfortable enough to just sunbathe in. The outside covering fits snuggly around the inflated tube and it doesn't collect water. The floor does give a bouncy, yet controlled ride when pulled behind a boat.Answered on 7/11/2011 by Rhonda from Cedar Rapids, IA
