This is an awesome multitool! Durable, functional, and good price - what more could you ask for?
The suspension is so convenient! It makes it easy to use the pliers in one hand and hold another tool in the other, without having to constantly open the pliers back up.
I also liked having locking blades. In my humble opinion, the less fingers that get chopped off due to slipping blades, the better! (This has never happened to me, but it just seems like common sense to lock your blade so that it doesn't happen.) I found that the locking mechanism for the blades and tools was sometimes difficult to disengage, but I may have to take partial blame for that because I did not clean or oil it very often.
Mine came with a simple nylon sheath, which had an inner liner that eventually degraded due to constant friction from removal of the tool, and the tool would sometimes catch on the liner as I was inserting or removing it. After I pulled out all the inner liner though, the sheath worked just fine again.
Overall great tool though I'd say. I'm considering buying another one...

Comments about Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier Multitool:
After about 4 months it started developing surface rust. Gerber says the warranty doesn't cover surface rust even though it's stainless steel. This is the 2nd Gerber product that I've owned. The other was a Flik about 10 years ago that a button came off of and they wouldn't cover it either. Any other Gerber products I acquire will be considered gag gifts.
