The Gator Machete shows definitively that two blades are better than one with its 15-inch fine-edge blade on one side and an 18-inch high performance saw blade on the other. It's forged of high-carbon stainless steel. The handle is covered with a Gator grip rubberized handle for comfort and control. It comes sheathed in a nylon case for secure carry. Made for use in the wilderness, as well as the backyard, it's a dual-purpose, lightweight machete for beating back the underbrush and trailblazing. Weighs only 18 oz. Overall length: 25.7". Blade length: 18".

The saw is a gimick and the qulity of the metal is low. There are superior macheties out there and they are not made by Gerber.

This is a great machete. I'm using it to clear off some land and it works wonders. Everything form pine to oak. The handle get a little looses form the cutting but its easy to tighten. The sheath isent the best, ripped after a few days wearing it. But still a great tool.

At first sight It looked promising, but it was misleading when I took it out of the packaging I felt it in my hands and was like OH NO! It is very flimsy the rubber grip handle is great until you sweat and then its not so good. Went to cut some branches off trees and through some brush it bounced a lot even when held the right way it would do this. save your money and don't buy this piece of junk unless you just want it for weeds and really thin tree branches or not so thick brush! Not to mention again how flimsy it is do not cut over anything 1 inch thick it will break no lie. The saw was nice though, wish it was built more better will be returning.
