Comments about Garmin echo 200 Fishfinder:
I have taken this ice fishing and it works great. I had to invent a transducer holder in order to use it and with a few modifications it worked great. I wish Garmin would make an ice fishing model or at least a transducer that is specific for ice fishing. Can't wait to try it this summer. I realy like the real time sonar. No problems with screen slowing in the cold.

Comments about Garmin echo 200 Fishfinder:
When hooking up the plugs into the back of the product it was hard to get the plugs all the way in so the product would work correctly. Once you get the plugs in it works great.

Comments about Garmin echo 200 Fishfinder:
I bought the garmin because it was the most user friendly and I had a previous garmin that I liked very well. I was reluctant because this is a new model that I could not find in the store, but I am very pleased with this unit and it was a big improvement from my old one.

Comments about Garmin echo 200 Fishfinder:
Product installs and sets up rather easy. I am having troubles getting the correct depths readings but think the unit may be on some type of display mode so need to figure out how to get that corrected.

Q:
What kind of sensor will it need to get the speed display to work? Can I order it with this? Is the transducer ready to install, or will I need to purchace other hardware? Waiting to get info before I place my total order, don't want to have to go to the hardware storeAsked on 7/27/2012 by Dave from Central Mi0 answers
