Comments about Garmin GPSMAP 431s Freshwater Chartplotter/Sounder Combo:

The depth finder loses it's signal a lot. It will suddenly flash a depth repeatedly and takes a while to come back to actual readings.I've had this unit professionally installed on two boats with the same results. The GPS is not accurate. Shows the boat on land when you are 200 feet from shore. Garmin support in near useless.
