Comments about Garmin® Astro 320 Dog Tracking Receiver & DC 40 Transmitter:
I use this to track bear dogs in thick woods good up to about 1 to 2 miles max. It works good to pin point the dogs especilly if their down. The biggest draw back with this one and the 220 is that the marine radios larger than 5 watts destroy them. That is something that is warned about in the 320 hand book but not the 220. I wish they could filter those radios out or something.

I use a garmin astro 320 every time i run my dogs. the tracking is great but u better have some AA bateries around. the garmin eats batteries. to boost tracking i recomend roof mount antenna.t makes it so much easier to track dogs.
