        Read an article 30 yrs ago about astronauts finding over the knee socks made them feel much more comfortable....Had to try it now at 62, and it works. Of course I have 10 pair of mid weight thermax/wool duofold long john bottoms, and I have worked with 2 pair on and otc wool socks. I know how to dress for cold and still be able to work.
