I collect frog baits because I love fishing in lily pads so much. I love these baits so much, I keep at least four extra bags in my boat just in case. I can go through a pack in one weekend cause they work so well. BAD thing is the noses get ripped out after a couple fish, and you have hook a new one on.

I've had the best luck with the top half dark green and the bottom half a chartreuse color.

Just bought a set in black because I've had luck in the past with all black salad spoons and dk. green Rage tails. Those are the big 3 when I talk about good topwater plastics.

THE MONEY Frog has terrible action, don't waste your money on those. Just tried them. These are the best overall and a killer deal.

Comments about Gander Mountain Frog, 3.5", 5-Pack:

Best soft plastic frog I've used to date (have tried many other brands/designs). I always use the two tone dark green/light green and it always produces a good amount of strikes; running over lily pads and other heavy cover will bring out the bass strikes and the open water action is just as productive. The only downside to this bait is when used in open water - pike love the paddle foot action (single use pike bait - they shred them to pieces).

It will sink if not continual being moved.

No, but sinks real slowly. The wide body makes it real easy to keep on the surface. Keep your rod at about 11 o'clock, get a hit, drop the rod to 3 o'clock and then set the hood. In slop don't be surprized if you only hook up about 50% or so of the hits you get.
