    I bought this rod and reel combo last Christmas. I am on my second combo and I am going to return it to the store for something else. I had the first rod and reel about a month. I hung a 3lb blue fish and it trashed the gears on the reel. I ended up hand lining the fish the final bit to the shore.Now on my second rod and reel the top eye insert on the rod has popped out. The reel itself is now slipping with the gears. The bait feeder feature does not always work as well.This rod and reel is not worth the money. I bought it on sale at Christmas for [$]. I could not imagine paying [$] for this combo.Overall I highly advise looking at a different combo.
