Comments about Gamma High Performance Copolymer Fishing Line:

Gamma's claims are all true, it seems, after using it awhile. It is as limp as nylon comes, tough, abrasion resistant, not too stretchy, great knot strength, very high break strength.

I used the 17# line and it is the best line to date that I have used. Gander has a lower price on it than most other places, too.

This would be my pick of all lines if it weren't for those occasional backlashes that require respooling with fresh line every now and then. I find that the price of this line would be worth it if respooling after bad backlashes wasn't necessary. But since backlashes are inevitable, and these low profile reels don't hold enough line to survive two bad backlashes before respooling, I personally find this line to be too expensive to use for an avid fisherman like me. What a shame; maybe the price will come down one day.
