    I first bought these hooks 3 years ago. My son, his friend, and I were on my boat fishing one day and my son and his friend were using the same bait as I but the weren't using the red hook. I however was and caught double the fish of what they caught together. Ever since then I haven't used another hook. BTW: now my son and his friend use them too
