Comments about Gamakatsu Red Finesse Wide Gap Hooks:
Caught lots of smallies in st. Clair shores with these hooks.. but I wish they make these barb more prominent.. just like eagle claws.

Comments about Gamakatsu Red Finesse Wide Gap Hooks:
This is a great, short-shank wacky rigging hook for open, snag-free water. The gap is real wide and allows for an easy, positive hook set. I generally rig senko and worm type baits with appropriately sized black or red O-rings and then insert the hook under the O-ring. This really extends the life of the bait. When used with no weight, this hook allows for a natural and enticing fall thru the water column. Many times the fish hook themselves and seldom escape.
