Comments about GSX Tournament Series Spinning Combo; 7'0", MH, 1 piece:

I use this combo as my heavy cover rig. I use 50 pound spiderwire braid and it is absolutely amazing. I use a cheap rig for fishing in more open water and it's hard to get used to casting a small spinning rig and go to a 7' pole. I just flip and pitch in the cattails and am having a ton of luck in my tiny private pond. Have yet to go to better places.
I prefer 1-piece rods because i find in my experience they are more durable. That being said, a 7' pole is a little harder to transport but is do-able.

I recently recieved my third gsx combo. Four of us had a kodax moment with spanish macks, at lest a hundred fish between four of us. The gsx preformed flawlessly as usual.

Comments about GSX Tournament Series Spinning Combo; 7'0", MH, 1 piece:

I put a smaller reel on the rod for casting spoons into a known oversized redfish area but to my surprise the first fish was a 35" Snook. Ten minutes later I hooked into a 34 incher. This rod tamed both fish very effectively. The rod didn't take any guff from either fish. After a short photo op with my fish I was able to update my facebook cover photo, ha. Excellent rod.
