    I was a bit concerned about the split grip but after the first cast my concerns were gone. I ordered two of them and have not been sorry. I cast at least 10 yards longer than I did with my previous rods. They are lighter and yet have a lot of back bone. I highly recommend these rods to everyone. I have put my spinning rod down more often for these have become my first choice option.
