Comments about GSX One-Person Backpacking Tent:

I was looking for a 1 person tent that wasn't terribly heavy for backpacking. There are lighter 1 person tents out there but you're looking at starting in the $200 range. I got this on sale for ( I think) $50. I only marked it difficult to set up because if you are not experienced, it's going to take you a while to get the stakes etc just right. It took some adjusting but once it's set, it looks good. I've set it up in the yard a couple of times now but haven't used it on the trail so I can't say anything about condensation or waterproofing. I will say that it looks like it has good ventilation so I don't expect any big condensation issues.

Comments about GSX One-Person Backpacking Tent:

Tent has 2 doors not one as stated , size is way off it's only 6'4" inside by only 22" width , the 3'4' width they talk about is just at the widest points of this dimond shape , so may just be big enough for me 6' and my sleeping bag , nothing else , hight by the feet is very tight . tent is almost to small to be used for anyone but a small child , box it came in from gander mtn was or had been opend and someone used this or set it up prior , not sure i will use gander mtn again . price was $59. so can't complain to much , shipping took over 7 days and then fed ex dropped it at the post office 3 miles down the road and took me an extra day to get it . so if your looking to pay very little for a one small person tent [ no gear storage] for 59 bucks guess you can't go wrong . spend twicew as much and get tiwce the tent stands to reason
