Comments about GAMO USA Varmint Hunter HP .22 Air Rifle with 4x32 Scope, Light and Laser:

I bought this gun on a close out for [$]. Figured it was a top of the line gun. Cleaned the barrel, removed the shooting rail that came on the gun, and added the additional scope mounted shooting rail. Put 200 rounds of 3 different crosman brands of ammo through it and then cleaned it again. There was some fouling towards the bullet seat. They were all around 4" at 20 yards. Put another 300 through it, and this gun only hit exactly where I was aiming 8 times. 1.5-2 inch groups at 20 yards. You can hear and feel the trigger creep. It may have been the scope that was causing the inconsistency,( I know how to correctly mount them and judge if they are moving). I feel if they are going to sell the gun and the scope, everything had better mesh up. If you want to consistently shoot 2" groups at 20 yards this is for you. Brought it back to the store, not accurate enough.
