gamo The GAMO USA Shadow Sport .177 Barrel-Cocking Air Rifle with 3 - 9 x 40 Scope is an excellent choice for small-game hunting, varmint hunting, and target shooting. GAMO Air Rifles consistently deliver superior quality, bull's eye accuracy, and maximum speed. 1000 fps with conventional lead pellets and 1250 fps with GAMO PBA pellets. Features an all-weather molded synthetic stock, a ventilated rubber pad for recoil absorption, and twin cheek pads for ambidextrous shooting. Includes 3 - 9 x 40 scope, mount, and 50 PBA pellets. One-year limited warranty.

      This is the first gun I've ever owned. With the lack of knowledge from any other guns, I think this gun is great! Good accuarcy, and easy to shoot. Put a pellet through a cig butt at about 15 yards. Gave it a 4 star only because I have nothing to compare it to.

          The Gamo Shadow is the industry standard for a rugged, reliable, hunting pellet gun. I've used mine for rabbits, squirrels, pidgeons,possum,crows, and even a close range wodchuck once. Farmers appreciate pest control, and it provides valuable rifle practice at the same time. In urban areas, a pellet gun may be the only option within city limits, and Gamo fills the need.

              Anything about 500 fps can kill bigger things than squirrels and rabbits,

              It can drop raccoons but i recommend the storm xt for squirrels and the gamo viper for bigger Pest controll like raccoons, groundhogs, and crows
