Powerful air rifle

        I have had this gun about 2 weeks and have shot well over 200 rounds. It is very powerful and feels very solid. The scope isn't bad but I wanted something with higher magnification so I put a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope on it. I have only tried one type of pellet so far. I have been using Crossman Premier Ultra Magnum pellets. They hit hard but I don't get consistent groups. They will group well for about four or five shots and then I get two or three flyers. I don't think its the gun. I think I just need to try several different types of pellets to see what will work best. I can say that I do like the gun though and I think anyone who buys one will be happy with it. I am only giving four stars until I can find a pellet that may work better.

        This is a very nice little air gun with lots of power. Plenty of power to bring down small animals with one shot. very accurate.

        The scope is absolute garbage. The crosshair ring fell forward inside the scope 10 days after I bought it and after light use. Fortunately Gander Mtn exchanged the gun so I didn't have to send it back to GAMO.

        If you buy this rifle, plan on spending another $50-75 for a scope. I don't know why GAMO would put such a piece of junk on an otherwise nice air rifle. 3 Stars because of the scope.

            Great little gun. I was surprised at the power out of the box. Great for protecting your garden from birds. (Plenty of power for small game.) Good for target practice. I hated the gamo scope, but replaced with a cheap .22 3x9 scope. Works great. Good gun for the cost.
