    I bought this for my wife's purse. She is a nurse and has to work nights sometimes and needed a light walking to her car. The G2 makes sure other cars see her and lights up the entire parking lot for her and her coworkers when they get there.

    This would be perfect, I might be a little picky on this one but this one comes with Tactical switching (push-on momentary, twist for constant on)and the conversion for click-on operation of this is [$] from SureFire. Would have liked to have seen click-on for this model out of the box. Other than that, this light is awesome!!!!!!!! has come through on several occasions from power outages to late night fishing/camping to after-dark car repair. This light will never let you down!

      We love our Surefire flashlights! Everyone in our home (6 of us) own a Surefire G2. Very bright, reliable. We don't go anywhere without them. If there is a downside it's the power required to provide such a bright light (two 123 batteries last about an hour). My wife bought me the G2 LED as a gift... runs for hours longer and just as bright (if not brighter) as the G2. Did I mention we love our Surefires?
