furuno The Furuno GP32 Chartplotter delivers precise navigation data using an external 12-channel GPS antenna and a built-in WAAS receiver for increased accuracy. This information is displayed on a 4.5" bright mono LCD display with a variety of modes for different navigational requirements.

    If you are looking for a high quality, highly accurate GPS at an affordable price then this is the unit. Had the older GP35 model on my last boat (SteigerCraft Chesapeake) and used it for everything from simple navigation, to locating sunken wrecks/structure for bottom fishing and rip lines in Montauk for bass fishing. Used it both for personal boating and charters. Just purchased another SteigerCraft Chesapeake and had to install the updated WAAS version GP32 Model. Linked it to my Furuno 1715 Radar. Works awesome as expected! You cannot go wrong with these units. High quality easy to use product without the unneeded bells and whistles!

      Does the antenna attach to the display or does it need a mast or seperate bracket?

        obviously the antenna attaches by wire to the unit but usually it rests on a pole bracket. Just poor marketing photo is what confused you.

        separate bracket most likely a pole mount. the antenna obviously connects to the display unit by wire

      does this unit plot? Does it show like a long dark rum line and show you if you are off the rum line and distance you are off the rum line.Does it draw a line of you`r corse you are stering in relasion to the dark rum line on the screen?
