The discription is misleading. It says cleated on box.Cleates are steel spikes for gripping rocks and mud. These boots are rubber lug soles. They are a little over priced for lug soles.

Comments about Frogg Toggs Dri Duck Hip Waders:

After one use the strap on the left boot broke, leaving me unable to secure the boot to my waistband or belt. After two uses the strap on the other boot broke. Just fell apart. On the third use I discovered inch long splits in the boot, from my toe to my ankle. I discovered this, by the way, when freezing water poured into both boots as soon as I stepped out of my four wheeler. This product is a joke and a complete waste of money.

Comments about Frogg Toggs Dri Duck Hip Waders:

Owned a pair of these for two years. They were alway stored in a controlled temperature environment and never left folded. In spite of this, the rubber on BOTH boots cracked and leaked just above the heel. Minimal use and careful storage should results in a longer lifetime than two years.
