Comments about Frabill® Portable Aerator:
I bought this to make my own live minnow bucket for ice fishing. I took a small cooler, drilled a hole in the top for the tubing and attached a rubberized zippered pocket to the side. I slip this into it - leave it unzipped so air can get in - but can zip it to keep water out if needed. Works great!

Comments about Frabill® Portable Aerator:
Bought one for myself, love it. the closest place to buy minnows is 25 miles from where I live. when I Bought it, along with 5 dozen minnows the weather turned for the worse for the next week, then work keep me from fishing for quite a while. Keep them alive for 19 days, over 450 hours.( yes a few batteries, but still worth it to see how well it worked(great). So I got my Dad one for Christmas, works great even in salt water. For the price I would recommend it to anyone.

Comments about Frabill® Portable Aerator:
Purchased this to replace the unit in their live well bucket. Guts rusted out in 2 months. Supposed to be in a sealed compartment but not. No help from Frabill. Am now making my own unit. Frabill service and support sucks. Forget about warranty.

Comments about Frabill® Portable Aerator:
bought 2 both failed after few months. Wondering what caused I have opened the actual pump and learned the pumping process is based on movement of thin rubber membranes (3). They are so thin, fragile and move so fast eventually develop a rip hence loosing pressure and the pumping ceases. There is nothing you can do about it-just bad internal design-the pump will fail no matter what after a few hundred hours of use.
