frabill Designed with the catch-and-release angler in mind, the Conservation Net features 100% fish-friendly, knotless mesh netting to prevent injuries to fish commonly caused by sharp knots. Its flat, linear bottom supports the weight of the entire fish and reduces rolling for easier removal of your catch. Tangle-Free coating prevents tangles, snags, and fraying. Its anodized, aluminum MeshGard hoop resists wear to greatly extend the life of the net. 1" Cam-Lock telescoping handle extends and automatically locks for extra reach with perfect handle alignment and collapses for compact storage when not in use. Pow'R Lok yoke system uses advanced corrosion-proof composite construction for lightweight strength.

        I have not experienced any of the problems the previous posters had. This net has been excellent and I fish year round for Steelhead and Walleye here in the Great Lakes Region.

            I first bought this as a back up net and before I even used it the handle locked up due to the cam (a piece of plastic glued inside the handle) came out of position. Tried to get it to extend and the two pieces just fell apart. I returned that one and they gave me a new one, no questions asked. They let me put a warranty on it at that point. First time out with the second one and the lock button ( piece of spring steel inside the handle) that holds the net to the handle broke with the first fish we landed. Now back to the store to try to get my money back. I will never buy a frabil net again.

              I bought this net because I liked the theory of the function. It worked O.K. on opener. The next time out I went to slide the handle out and the two sections simply came apart and I was holding on to two pieces of the handle that was not supposed to come apart. put it back together and now the extension just falls out. Not to mention the button that holds the net in place will not go back into the proper position to allow it to function correctly. Don't buy this it is garbage.

                    I used it twice. If it functioned correctly it would be a great net, but on second time out the handle came apart. The glue that holds the stop in place came off and when I extended the handle it pulled the stop out and I had 2 pieces in my hands. I put it back toghether but it was difficult to pull the handle out after that and eventially the cam attached to the extension handle came off and got stuck in the main handle. I would stay away from this net the design is bad. This is not the first bad experience I've had with a Frabil product.
