Q:What is the best rule to follow, to determine the correct size when ordering a life jacket such as the Float Tech Inflatable or other similar inflatable vest. I wear a size 42-44 T-Shirt. It don't say so, so I'm assuming that the Float Tech can only be inflated manuallyAsked on 7/7/2014 by None
The correct way to determine what size life jacket that you will need is based on your chest size. The Float-Tech PFD can be inflated by pulling the inflate cord on the right side or by manually inflating by blowing into the tube on the left side of the vest. The large fits a chest size of 42 to 44 inches. I am attaching the manufactures owner's manual for their PFD: http://quaticapparel.com/images/FT-HRA-R5_USCG_Owners_Manual.pdf.
