Comments about KeelGuard FlexStep™ Adjustable Trailer Step:
One of the neatest products I've seen. Great design. Very east to install. I have a 21ft ski boat and I HATE when people step on the painted wheel fender to get in the boat...Causes scratches & etc. This product can be mounted anywhere on your trailer....Front, side or whatever. Quick tip....I purchased some very cheap foam rubber (1/4 inch thick) from [...]and cut pieces the exact size of the plates and glued them to the inside of the mounting plates so that they wouldn't scratch up my trailer while mounting. This way, if I decide to take the step off, my trailer is in it's original condition. The plates do come with some protective tape on it, but I gotta believe when one cranks down the bolts tight, it's gonna scratch some. With the foam rubber, it's perfect.

Comments about KeelGuard FlexStep™ Adjustable Trailer Step:
The FlexStep appears to be just what I needed. I had shoulder surgery last winter and have a problem pulling myself up into the boat from the ground. Unfortunately, I also have short legs and using the ladder is also difficult. So far, so good. It helps gain entry into the boat from the ground.

Q:
When mounted on the side of the trailer frame rail the photos show the step allowing only adjustment increments that would be equal to the frame height or above. Would it be possible to invert the mounting brackett so that the adjustment increments provide step heights at intervals lower than the frame rail. I am partially disabled and cannot make the step up on the trailer from the ground which is approx 23" (pontoon boat trailer) I need a another step about half of that height.Asked on 7/26/2011 by Ed from Warner Robins, Ga0 answers
Q:
Can I purchase more than one mounting bracket, if I want to have access to my boat from various locations?Asked on 5/23/2011 by Anonymous0 answers
