Ok for the money, but if I bought a new one I'd look for something where the end is open and accessible. I broke off the tip of a rod because you have to guess how short you can close it before touching/bending/breaking a rod tip.

I'm using this to hold cable/wire pulling tools. The price was about 1/2 what i've looked at before other places so grabbed one and couldn't be happier.
Pros
- Durable
- Expandable
Cons
Best Uses

I just purchased at a closeout sale for [$] along with 3 rods. I really like the expandable feature as my other holder is a fixed length. Seems like a durable product, but I had it unlatched and open, leaning on my car; it fell and the the latch broke off. Hopefully I can super-glue it or maybe get a replacement latch.

This my second Bazuka and it is just as strong and reliable as the first one I bought. We take fishing trips to the Outer Banks and either fly or drive. I have 5 Surf Fishing rods that fit nicely into my Bazukas and the gorilla baggage handlers can't seem to hurt them. Now that means they are more than what I expected. Buy it, You'll love it!!!

Q:
what does it mean when it says 6.5 what?Asked on 12/12/2008 by z-man from p-ville, NY3 answers
A:
Means up to (6) rods at 6 1/2 feet (or longer). I use it for 5 or 6 rods, spin & baitcast and flyrods, the longest being a 7' pitchin' stick.Answered on 4/21/2009 by BRooster from WI to GAVERIFIED BUYER

Q:
does this include storage for the reel?Asked on 12/5/2008 by sam from columbus ohi1 answer
A:
Generally, no. You might be able to get one or two low profile baitcasters in the case attached to their rods, especially if handles are staggered length or one is reversed. But this would greatly decrease rod capacity. This is more intended for rough transport with reels detached.Answered on 4/21/2009 by BRooster from WI to GA
