Traditional ice rods lose grip during cold, wet conditions on the ice, but Fenwick Elite Tech Ice Rods feature TAC handles to give anglers the best grip in the most extreme conditions. The TAC (Technically Advanced Construction) handle increases grip and durability in even the most rigid conditions. Stainless steel frame guides with aluminum oxide inserts reduce overall weight while handling harsh conditions placed on ice fishing equipment. Twist-lock reel seat with stainless steel hood eliminates any need to tape the reel to the rod, giving anglers one less worry on the ice.

    Very nice action, light enough tip for smallish jigs yet strong enough for setting a hook and fighting large rainbows. My rod came out of the handle when I picked it out of the bucket by the tip the first time, but shoved it back in and had a great day of fishing. Such a nice rod I will spend an hour fixing it myself. I have built rods before so no sweat. Nice guides, nice handle, easy to fix. Great action, would be a 10/10 if it didn't come apart.
