Quick and easy to use...just as it states! It allows us to hang the fenders quickly and effortlessly when tying up with other boats out in the lake. We hang ours from the side of our windshield (not the rails as was shown in the ad - but they can be easily used both ways). They fit perfectly. Easy on and easy off. When we untie w/ other boats, we simply lift the clip off and in seconds the fenders are back down in the cabin in storage.

I had a similar product from another manufacturer that is no longer available. I intended to replace a broken one with a Fender Tender. I does not clamp securely over a 1" rail and can pop off unexpectedly. If you have rails that are less than 3/4" it will probably work fine. I had to return mine and I am still looking for a solution.

Comments about Davis Instruments Fender Tender II, pair:
I bought these for rail use, kind of tight, I believe mine are 7/8" but kept them for clipping onto my thick plexi windscreen or looks like they would work great for cleats which I didn't realize they do as well. Seemed like they would break on rails but still fairly flexible, they lean towards skinny rails, lifelines, or cleats.

Comments about Davis Instruments Fender Tender II, pair:
This product works great. It is inexpensive and is easy to use. It works very well for when you tie up to other boats and you have no where to tie a bumper rope in the middle where your windshield is.

Q:
Will these work on the square pontoon boats rails?Asked on 4/4/2010 by Michael from Locust Grove, Va.1 answer

A:
They may, but I don't think it would fit very secure. They seem to be made more for the round rails.Answered on 7/11/2011 by IMINARUSH from Concord, NC
