This little product helps make boating easier in a big way. They fit the railings like a glove. On the rivers, you never know what side of the lock you will be placed on when locking through. With this product, it just don't matter! Push on Pull off - 123 and you switched your fenders to the other side of the boat. No more trying to tie and untie knoted ropes or buying extra fenders you don't need. This fender adjuster keeps your fender secure, unlike the straps that rip and you lose your fenders. TO THE MANUFACTURE - THANK YOU

This looked like agood idea so I bought several. However, in real life they are not worth half the price.
These hooks are fragile and constantly crack in everyday use. They will not hold a bumper in place unless the line is wrapped around the railing and secured, so they do not save time either.
Go ahead and tie your bumpers by hand.

Comments about Taylor Made Fender Adjuster For Pontoon Boat Rails (4-Pack):
Last summer a friend and his wife had me out on their pontoon and he had his fenders attached to the railing using a set of these. When we approached a dock it was so easy for his wife to locate the fenders on either side of the boat as needed with these. I had been using a tie on fender that was always tie it on and locate the right length line to fit the boat and these were just so easy to put on and take off I had to have a set.

These are not intended to be used as dock tie offs so no I don't think so. They would probably unsnap before any damage could be done.Answered on 6/7/2011 by Fireguy from Springfield IL.VERIFIED BUYER

there is no chance of bending the rail. the rail is aluminum, these clips are heavy plastic. therefore the clips would break before the rail could bend.Answered on 6/10/2011 by Big Woody from oscoda miVERIFIED BUYER

I've seen them in West Marine, but pontoon boat supplies can be hard to find. I would recommned just purchasing online. Very little chance of being damaged in shipment, and the freight is nearly offset by the sales tax.Answered on 10/8/2009 by Boat Nut from CA

These are fender line holders that allow you to hang your fender on a pontoon rail and remove or relocate your fenders very easily. The fender line just run through the clip and is tied off in a knot once the correct height is adjusted.Answered on 8/7/2009 by Ryan from Overtons
