Q:If you order the thru hull transducer is there additional costs and does the product to seal it to the hull come with the unit or is that a seperate order? If a seperate order, what is recommended and what is the cost? Also does the air and water temperature work with the thru hull transducer?Asked on 8/19/2012 by JP
A:The6 transducer that this comes with can be either a transom mount transducer or you can take the transom bracket off and epoxy the transducer inside the hull. There is no other item number for this item for that reason. You will need to get a tube of marine epoxy. Call us at 1-888-683-7866 for the instruction packet on how to accomplish this.Answered on 11/16/2012 by Justin M. from Overton's
