          Product is good but would be VERY helpful to disclose what type and size of screw/bolt go best with the product.

          It should actually come with suggested nuts, bolts, and screws.

            These mounts are a heavy duty stainless steel they are stamped not cast. They are highly polished and attractive. They are not a true flush mount rather a surface mount sticking up approximately 1/4" to 5/16". They use 1/4-20 screws which you provide. The black plastic piece is a mystery. Mount them closer to the edge of boat than you think you should about 1/2 of a mount. Trust me on that one!!!!

              Product was easy to install. Four bolts with a cordless drill. I have since used the ladder and mounts and it works well. This product does not include bolts to attach mounts to boat. THis would have saved a trip to the hardware store. also, wasn't sure what type to use.
