Product Description
Erickson's new retractable ratchet solves the problem of excessive webbing. With this innovative tie-down, only the webbing needed to secure the load is unrolled from the spring-loaded compartment. Once installed, the strap is then tightened like a normal ratchet. When not in use a strong return spring rolls the webbing up, similar to a seat belt or tape measure. Storage is so simple - no more piles of straps and webbing. 2" x 6'. Holds up to 4,000 lbs.

    Needed different straps to tie dow the back of my 27 foot boat to my trailer. These straps were exactly what I was looking for however they do not retract short enough to tie my boat down to the trailer. I can retro fit them to make them work but I really do not want to have to do that. I do believe they would work awesome if they would be short enough.

                        I am using the Retractable Ratchet Tie-Downs to hold my truck camper in place. In off loading the camper I find it difficult to release the mechanism. What am I not doing correctly? The only way I could release the mechanism was to use a screw driver and release the inner/lower ratchet in the cog wheel. Tried pushing the little red lever as indicated and also pulling the lever fully down at the same time.
