In the event of accidental acceleration, the patented spring-hinge design flexes upward, preventing damage to the trolling plate. Constructed from marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel. Mounts directly to the cavitation plate of your outboard or outdrive motor, a few inches behind the propeller. Optional hydrofoil fins improve fuel economy and reduce porpoising. Short plate fits outboard motors 30 HP to 45 HP.
