    Used this recently at our crawfish boil for scooping live crawfish into pot, scooping them out, and stirring the pot and scooping vegetables out. Was surprised at how well made and sturdy this utensil was when it arrived. My father used it at the crawfish boil and asked where I got it, said he will have to get one, Fathers Day??? This will work with fried fish, french fries or whatever you throw in the frier, 8 inch basket/scoop is nice and big.
