Due to our boats' design we were having difficulty finding a ladder that would work. This one is perfect for use when swimming/boarding after using towables. Just recommend that the plates that are recommended for use with it would be included in the box. This would have been much more convenient than having to find and then drill matching holes. The tether used to hold the ladder up and secured to the boat needs to be longer/stronger. We had to purchase a better velcro strap to make sure it remained in a secure position and did not fall when traveling.

I am very happy with my purchase.
My son helped me install the ladder and I am pleased with it. It's well crafted, durable and sturdy, and it certainly makes it alot easier for my children and grandchildren to climb back onto the pontoon boat after jumping off into the lake to swim. stainless screws arent very good, broke most of them while installing. threads are very rough and cause nuts to stick while thightening. everthing else was eccelent

I was looking for something that I could use to get on and off my pontoon while in the middle of the lake. My only options were an under the deck ladder or this swing out of the way ladder. I chose the swing out of the way ladder and I know that I will be pleased with it. It is attractive and easy to install. All I would suggest is to include backing plates. But that won't keep me from recommending this ladder to anyone.

The instsructions were clear, parts were all there, great unit. The velcro tie strap could have been a little sturdier. It would work fine for just sitting still but for roading the boat we attached a heavier strap. But the functtionality of the ladder, its lightweight and it construction make it an excellent buy.
