Comments about Tempo Products Drain Plug and Receiver Kit:

Fit in the drain hole of my boat better & more securely than the old one. Has two tethers to the plug, unlike the old one that had just one that broke within a couple of years. Also, plug screws in & out easier & more smoothly than the original. Good product at good price.

Which of the plugs you sell would fit a 1970's Scorpion sail boat?

How deep (dimension from flange to outside) is the receiver? I'm looking to mount it in an aluminum row boat without a drain.

                    A:

Its about 1 3/4 inches. This is made more for a fiberglass boat & I'm not sure how secure it would be with aluminum. If you drilled a hole about 5/8 inch, you might get a secure seal if you popped(more like "forced")this into that. Remove the plug, don't be afraid to use a rubber mallet to secure it in the hole, then replace the plug.

This item has a barbed back that you can attach a hose to and the flange on the front has holes that you can screw self-tapping screws into to secure it into the hole that you drilled for the product, and the drain plug will cap off the hole.

Will this plug fit a Tracker 14' deep hull fishing boat? Other drain plugs will not fit. This is the only one I have found that is threaded.

You will have to match up the dimensions of the existing plug you have now. Its a universal plug, so as long as the dimensions match up it will work.
