Q:
please advise how this device clamps onto the rail?
ThanksAsked on 5/17/2009 by Frosty from Michigan1 answer
A:
The round back plate is what clamps over the rail. Remove the back plate by backing out the two bolts, place the rod holder on the outer portion of your rail, re-install the back plate making sure your rail is clamped in the middle. Tighten the two bolts until the holder doesn't move on your rail. Be careful not to over tighten the bolts as they can break rendering your rod holder useless.Answered on 5/24/2010 by Aircraft Mechanic from Gwadalupay
