Comments about Dockmate Universal 3-Way Dock Fender:
It is not "3 way." While it may be ok for lighter uses, it definitely cannot replace other products for direct bumping of boat on pier boards. It is too flimsy and thus "3 way" is a mischaracterization of the product.

Comments about Dockmate Universal 3-Way Dock Fender:
I needed small boat protection on one side of my dock that was 8 inches in height and 16 feet long. The horizonal mounting did not do a satisfactory job, so I cut 8 inch strips and mounted them vertically 3 inches apart covering the entire 16 feet, plus covered two sharp corners with 8 inch strips. Works great!
