Comments about Dockmate Stationary Dock Ladder, Wide Step, 3-Step:
The ladder looks good but the steps themselves are poorly mounted. The wide steps extend well in front of the ladder and there is no support. The front of each step flexes when you stand on it and only stops flexing when the back edge of the step hits the metal pole. The edges are also capped with flimsy black plastic caps that will likely get lost. The edges of these steps should have been welded just like the rest of the ladder.

Comments about Dockmate Stationary Dock Ladder, Wide Step, 3-Step:
The handles are a nice size, the right height, and the ladder itself works well with the quick release mounts.
The problem is that the front part of the wide steps on this ladder are completely unsupported and flex a lot. There are cheap plastic caps snapped into the sides of the extrusion. If those caps were replaced with aluminum that was welded to the step and the pipe- this would be the perfect ladder- but it isn't built that way. Considering what a big deal DockMate makes about their quality of construction- these ladders don't live up to the hype.
This ladder will be going back and getting replaced with a standard step ladder.

Comments about Dockmate Stationary Dock Ladder, Wide Step, 3-Step:
I used this for an above ground swimming pool. I had to coat it because of chlorine, but I expected that.
