              • Q:

                Curious as to what type of fastener works best for these, since none are included. It appears to have some sort of hexagonal opening on the top, for a nut perhaps? I'm not going to use mine for a dock but rather mounted in my garage on the wall to wrap a rope around from a pulley. Can I screw it into the stud with screws? Bolts with nuts would be out of the question. Thanks.

                  That would be fine since it is not actually going on a dock. Just some sort of self drilling screws should suffice for your purposes.
