Comments about Dockmate Commercial-Grade Double-Molded Dock Profile, Side Guard:
Installation was simple, roll it out and screw it down. I also ordered the SS mounting screws offered by Overton's that had big heads and secured it to the dock nicely.

Q:
Do you screw this product onto the dock? Would brass nails pop?Asked on 4/17/2011 by ghoran from san diego, ca2 answers
A:
The dockmate stainless steel screws worked perfectly. Installed mine several years ago and they're still secure with no rust marks. Buy overton's 100 screws for $20 as its a bargain, and I did shop for alternatives. Install dockmate when warm/hot as its much harder to work with in cold weather. Super sturdy and really a commercial grade product. Turned all my neighbors onto it.Answered on 9/2/2011 by Eddy knows from Lake Sinclair, GaVERIFIED BUYER
A:
I personally used stainless steel screws to attach to my dock and they worked great. I did drill pilot holes prior to screwing down. I think brass nails would probably work okay but I would make sure the material your pounding the nails into is solid and that the nails are at least 2" long.Answered on 7/12/2011 by Drew from Elmore, OH
